About the Collegiate Recovery Center
The UNM Collegiate Recovery Center (CRC) is a student-centered space that supports wellness, recovery, harm reduction, and belonging. Our goal is to help students thrive academically, personally, and socially while building meaningful community connections.
Who We Are
The CRC recognizes that recovery looks different for everyone. We support all pathways to healing and wellness through peer connection, education, advocacy, harm reduction, and community care.
We are committed to creating an inclusive and culturally responsive space where students feel seen, respected, and supported.
What Recovery Means Here
Recovery Is Not One-Size-Fits-All
At the CRC, recovery can mean many things:
- sobriety support
- harm reduction
- mental health support
- rebuilding connection
- finding community
You do not need to identify as being in recovery to access support or participate in CRC programming.
Our Mission
The CRC supports students by fostering connection, reducing stigma, promoting wellness, and increasing access to recovery and harm reduction resources through community-centered programming and education.
Meet the CRC Team
Our team is committed to supporting students with compassion, respect, and understanding. We believe in meeting students where they are and building a recovery-friendly campus community together.

Volunteer With the CRC
Interested in Volunteering?
The CRC welcomes students who are interested in supporting recovery-friendly programming, wellness events, outreach activities, harm reduction education, and community-building efforts on campus.
Volunteering with the CRC is a great opportunity to build leadership skills, gain experience in behavioral health and community engagement, and help create a more supportive campus community for all students.
